- Special travel needs are also addressed - pregnancy, small children, the elderly, for example, or those with specific medical concerns such as diabetes, heart conditions, decreased immunity, or chronic diseases.

As an Infectious Disease specialist, Dr. Ghesquiere has a broad range of experience in tropical medicine, and with travelers both prior to and following their return. Dr. Ghesquiere has practiced medicine in Victoria since 1989 and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Canadian Infectious Diseases Society, International Society of Travel Medicine and the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
